Meet The Coras

Ashley here. I’m the mama to Isaac, Zay, & Sara, and wife to Hector. We’re also fur parents to Maisy the lab, Asher the goldendoodle, Cash the morkie, & Remi the shorkie. Oh! And chickens… and ducks… and soon-to-be G O A T S. I LOVE animals, all things crafty, and have a new found obsession with plants. I’m a RN of 22 years, mental health advocate, and baseball mom for life!

Photography and digital design captured my heart when I had children. Countless moments spent behind a hand-me-down camera or phone & creating custom invitations, announcements, or party decorations sparked something deep inside me. Little did that young mama know that that spark would become a flame many years later.

Through my healing journey, I’ve realized that everything that I’ve been through has brought me to this moment… that creative outlet turned chosen path… that spark to flame. Let me tell you something, friend – I’m here for it!

Hi friend! It’s me, Ashley. Welcome to Cora Photo + Design LLC. It is my hope to shed a little light on this world and serve others well. I hope you enjoy my cozy corner of the internet. Whether you are looking for services, motivation, inspiration, or someone to just keep it real… I’m your girl. This journey is just getting started, and I’d love to have you along for the ride!

Snow Days

I can still hear my then 10-year-old daughter exclaiming, “it’s a dirty LIE” as she anxiously awaited a glimpse of falling snowflakes through the window. Snow in Eastern NC is a rare occurrence. I mean, it’s only been 3 years to the day! It’s cold outside, but this girl warms my heart.
